Why Jonathan works in global education: I value exploring how the world is connected as well as furthering people's abilities to study and work abroad.

Advice for students preparing to go abroad: Welcome the vast uncertainty that comes with exploring a new country and culture. Expectations will change, so keeping an open mind will help with adjusting and learning.

One of the most important lessons Jonathan learned while studying abroad or traveling: Our personalities and understandings of the world are largely framed by where we grow up and our surroundings. When we go abroad to a foreign area, we adapt by thinking more independently and become more confident navigating change.
