Global Network: Semester in Barcelona
Overview
Spend your semester living and learning in the capital of Spain’s Catalonia region, Barcelona! When class is in session, you’ll choose from a unique mix of flexible and diverse courses, including courses like language, politics, photography, cuisine, or sustainability initiatives. Outside the classroom, immerse yourself in the local culture with optional internships, volunteering opportunities, or language programs. Also, participate in co-curricular and extracurricular activities to appreciate Spain’s impressive cultural attractions and landmarks.
Eat like a local and try popular traditional dishes like churros, patatas bravas, tortilla de patata, tapas, and pinchos. Hike the Carretera de les Aigües for amazing views of the city, and see a Flamenco show – an authentic Spanish art form!
