Lindsey Williams

Assistant Director
Faculty-Directed Programs

While completing her master’s degree, Lindsey worked as a Management Intern with ASU’s Career & Professional Development Services, leading the Career Peer program and managing a team of student workers who provided career advising to ASU students and alumni. After graduating, Lindsey came to the Global Education Office as the department’s Marketing Coordinator where she led marketing and recruitment projects for study abroad programs prior to transitioning to the faculty-directed programs team.

  • B.S. Supply Chain Management; B.A. Global Politics; Certificate in International Business; Arizona State University
  • M.Ed. Higher & Post-Secondary Education; Arizona State University

International Experience

  • Studied abroad at the University of Economics in Prague, Czech Republic
  • Traveled abroad to Hungary, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Ireland, Iceland, Canada, Mexico, Belize, Peru, Argentina, and Chile

Why Lindsey works in global education: I love the excitement students have when they talk about their international experiences and I enjoy being part of the process of increasing access to international opportunities to reach even more students.

Advice for students preparing to go abroad: Keep an open mind! Be willing to try new things and push yourself outside of your comfort zone even when it seems scary or difficult.

One of the most important lessons Lindsey learned while studying abroad or traveling: Being put in a new place where I didn't speak the language was challenging, but it increased my confidence in my ability to problem-solve and think on my feet.
