Why Cat works in global education: I am passionate about empowering students to pursue their academic, career, and personal goals through transformative study abroad experiences. I believe all students should have the opportunity to study abroad to enhance their intercultural awareness and global citizenship.

Advice for students preparing to go abroad: Expect the unexpected, and be prepared for your actual experience to be completely different from your expectations. Keep an open mind, be flexible, and try your best to immerse yourself fully in your new environment.

One of the most important lessons Cat learned while studying abroad or traveling: The importance of intentionally building your community while abroad, as they will be your local support system during the challenging moments, as well as the source of your best memories from your time abroad!
