Prior to joining the ASU Global Education Office, Max worked for the study abroad provider International Business Seminars (IBS).
Education
- B.A. in Modern Languages and Literatures; Montana State University
International Experience
- Studied abroad in Spain and Australia.
- Spent 2 years backpacking across the world after graduating from college, while backpacking Max visited over 30 different countries
- Taught English in Thailand and worked professionally in Australia
Why Max works in global education: Creating opportunities for students to experience the magic of studying abroad is something I am passionate about.
Advice for students preparing to go abroad: Do it now, because you never know if you'll have the chance again.
One of the most important lessons Max learned while studying abroad or traveling: People, no matter where you are in the world, are the greatest resource.

Meet with Max to discuss faculty-directed programs through the New College of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences and College of Integrative Sciences and Arts (CISA). He works closely with faculty and staff from these schools to develop and implement a wide variety of excursions all over the globe.
