Fund for Education Abroad Scholarships

Scholarship information

General Eligibility:

Students must:

  • be a US citizen or permanent resident of the US
  • be currently enrolled as an undergraduate
  • receive credit for selected Global Education program
  • participate in a Global Education program for at least 4 weeks (28 days) in country/countries. Award amount for summer programs may vary on number of weeks a student is abroad

FEA strongly encourages students to apply who represent a group that is traditionally underrepresented in education abroad. Those groups include, but are not limited to:

  • Minority students
  • First-generation college students
  • Community college students
  • Students with disabilities
  • Student Athletes
  • Veterans
  • Returning learners

Criteria

Award Amount:
At least $1,250 (summer); $5,000 (semester); up to $10,000 (academic year)

Program Length:
  • 1 month - 6 months
  • 6 months - 1 year

  • Non-US citizens (including DACA recipients)
